Going to happen especially re: Johann •FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: Can know he might be fictional, you almost certainly don't know his canon. •BACKTAGGING: Absolutely •AVOIDED TOPICS: If there's going to be gaslighting, I'd like to discuss is and have it raised; gaslighting my character is fine just not me, please : ) •PREFERRED GENDER PRONOUN: she/they IC CHARACTERISTICS: •CURRENT CANON POINT: end of the novel when he dies by gunshot wound •PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Florian is "a small man with delicate bone structure: high rouged cheekbones, thin pianist's fingers [...] [with a] meager width of his rib cage" and largely very pale ( "Beneath the white fabric his skin was powdery and marred with dark rivers of bruise. The black wound traced the path of Florian's veins, his flesh cracking and scabbed around its borders [...] coarse and mottled like fresh charcoal." He also has a noticeable frisson of heat around him for those with supernatural senses (ETA: when he is emotional; otherwise he has learned to hide this somewhat) and he 'stank' of magic all around him to Johann once he realized. To everyone but Johann, again he acts the fop. Johann, and anyone he eventually lets in, will see that he's driven, blunt, sharp-tongued, and a little mean. •DEMEANOR: To anyone who isn't Johann, affable and playful and clever and coy. Actually a little ball of hateful rage. •ABILITIES: Florian is a magician/sorcerer/wizard and he can do magic, albeit one who is self taught. Florian's magic is currently severely capped to where he can't use most of his abilities as they affect other people; at this point, he can only use magic on people who consent beyond simple force/telekinesis and parlor tricks and even that is limited. •MEDICAL INFORMATION: A very frail body brimming with magical talent; the aforementioned scars on his arms are the results of using it. He's exceptionally resistant to disease and starvation and heals more quickly than most. •CABIN INFORMATION: The front door to his cabin looks like the front door to Leickenbloom Manor, his family's ancestral home (something like this); inside he has his bedroom and his sitting room. •OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: modern industry, mining, trains, foreign investment (I'm not saying don't talk about them, I'm saying you're going to piss him off) plague, anti-aristocratic talk, family (same, just make him twitch) IC PERMISSIONS: •MENTAL: Yes, but he has the means to fight back! •MIMICRY: Go ahead, but he'll hate you. •VIOLENCE: It would be very hard; he avoids violence himself. He's more likely to push you away and run. •MAGIC: Can try but he's got his own magic so he'll probably know, try and defend himself, or remember and revenge himself. •DEBATE: absolutely though he probably won't take it seriously •OTHER / NOTES: Manhandling him if you're not Johann is going to get one hell of a response. |
